Prenatal Yoga with Birthdance & Massage for Relaxation, Childbirth Preparation, Fitness, and Postpartum Recovery Preparation
Prenatal classes with Michelle are unique, safe, & sound forms of holistic fitness, childbirth preparation, postural-ventilatory-core training, therapeutic exercise, & bonding with your baby in a fun & peaceful atmosphere. Classes provide a nurturing space for women to create community, celebrate their pregnancies, femininity, inner strength, & birthing ability. This class is designed for all stages, abilities, regardless or cesarean or vaginal birth.
Classes teach women how to strengthen, tone, activate, and lengthen specific muscles to aid the body during pregnancy/labor/birth. Women learn to consciously relax and reduce pain/tension, while also improving their posture and forming lasting friendships. All classes end with a nurturing massage.
Michelle encourages
perinatal and health care professionals to attend classes to create
awareness, community, & understanding of the benefits of this approach to prenatal wellness.
All classes
comply with exercise guidelines established by the American College of
Obstetrics and Gynecology. Birth balls and props are used to provide optimal support during pregnancy. It is recommended to consult with your
doctor prior to attending class.
