Ages 5 weeks to pre-crawling.
New moms will learn evidence-based postpartum exercises designed to rehabilitate, tone, stretch, & strengthen key muscles, burn fat, trim your waist, improve posture, prevent common musculoskeletal injuries. New moms relax, energize, and bond with baby using baby signs, developmental play, & infant massage to enhance infant cognitive, social/emotional, & motor development. Class is taught by Michelle Maniaci, Pre/Post Natal & Pediatric Movement & Developmental Specialist & Licensed Physical Therapist with over 13 years experience. Please bring sling or infant carrier for dance
portion and blanket for baby.
Individual and group sessions are available. THIS CLASSES OFFERS 4 CLASSES in 1!
This weekly classs meets for 60 minutes.
Sample Class Format includes:
- a 45 minute postpartum specific cardiopulmonary and core workout with yoga, dance, & Pilates based core training, functional exercise training, and postural-ventilatory muscle education to prevent common new motherhood musculoskeletal injuries.
- a
15 minute cool down with parenting enrichment hot topics, infant massage, & mother massage.
- Time to socialize, share experiences, and form lasting friendships.
Class investment: $18 per class, or 10 classes for $150. Pre-Registration is required.
